LAKIDOMUS d.o.o. is the data controller for this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Slovenian data protection law (ZVOP-2).
We collect personal data only when you provide it voluntarily: via the contact form (name, email address, message); via the Bentral booking system (name, contact details, stay dates); and standard server access logs (IP address, browser type) for security purposes. Language preference is stored only in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
Your data is used solely to respond to enquiries, process and manage bookings, and fulfil legal obligations such as tax and accounting requirements. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Processing is based on: your consent for contact enquiries; performance of a contract for bookings; and our legal obligations under Slovenian accounting and tax law.
We use Bentral as our booking platform — guest data entered during the booking process is processed by Bentral as a data processor on our behalf. We use ipapi.co solely to detect your country for automatic language selection; only your IP address is used momentarily and no personal data is stored by us.
Contact enquiries are retained only as long as necessary to respond. Booking data is retained for the period required by Slovenian accounting and tax legislation (generally 10 years).
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian supervisory authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec (ip-rs.si).
